Ozone therapy

Ozone therapy in dentistry is based on the antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effect of ozone. Ozone is produced in the office by a medical device and is administered using a glass loop. Ozone can penetrate up to 5 mm into soft tissue and about 1-2 mm into hard tissue.

Ozone therapy in dentistry is used for:

Disinfection of dental caries;

Root canal disinfection;

Non-invasive treatment of non-invasive carious lesions;

Treatment of hypersensitivity and dental abrasion;

Treatment of necrotic gingivitis;

Treatment of periodontal pockets;

Treatment of oral candida;

Treatment of herpes;

Treatment of canker sores;

Hygiene before and after oral surgery;

Dental extractions;

Stopping the bleeding.
