Hygienisation, which includes classic scaling, professional brushing and air-flow, is one of the simplest methods of preventing both periodontal disease and caries.
After scaling, the tartar on the surface of the teeth is completely removed, and then with the help of Medency's Triplo diode dental laser, the subgingival area is decontaminated, reducing the risk of gum disease.
The procedure is atraumatic, which means it won't cause pain or bleeding.
The dental laser also decontaminates the subgingival area, destroying pathogenic bacteria that can lead to dental conditions such as periodontal disease.
It is recommended to do both procedures twice a year.
