"Ever since I was a little girl, I loved helping. Medicine was always the answer when someone asked me what I wanted to be, but I loved drawing, combining colours, pretty much anything to do with art. So I tried to combine medicine with aesthetics and decided to recreate smiles."

Cosmina graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine "Carol Davila" Bucharest - class of 2010. Afterwards she followed many courses to become a competent doctor. Since Dental Aesthetics is the branch of dentistry that has always attracted her, Cosmina has participated and continues to participate in numerous Dental Aesthetics Congresses. Lately she has been focusing on the Dental Laser side, having obtained the certificate "Lite Touch Er: Yag laser application in daily dentistry."

The dentist's biggest challenge is...

"To be able to adapt to the needs of each patient, maintain a high level of competence, and withstand long-term stress. At the beginning of my career I found it difficult to do all of this, but over time, through my sociable, smiling manner, I was able to instil confidence in my patients."

A surprise patient

"I was in my office one day and while I was talking to one of my patients, a gentleman comes in with a dog... asking me to make an appointment for a cleaning. I invited him to sit down and wait until I was finished with the patient I was with. I later invited him into the office, telling him he could leave his dog in the waiting room, as he would be in the care of my colleague at the front desk. The gentleman's response was sincere and very confident: "I can wait here, he is the patient". It wasn't a joke, the gentleman really believed that at the dentist's even the dogs can get a hygienisation."
