"I knew I was going to be a dentist since my early years in high school when I realized what I love most: helping people. I was always praised for my smile and wanted to give that to those around me. My mother has been my guide and biggest supporter on this journey. I can't see myself doing anything else and if I had it to do over again this is what I would still choose."

Cristina graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry "Carol Davila", class 2018, General Dentistry. Over time she developed a passion on the Endodontics branch (root canal treatments) and further specialised, attending courses and congresses. 

The dentist's biggest challenge is...

"The Patient. Dentistry has shifted in recent years from medicine to aesthetics and we, as doctors, have had to become artists too. Also, trauma to the teeth implies emotional trauma, so our role is also that of a therapist, and empathy is very important in this profession."
