"I became a psychologist out of a need to understand myself, I felt there was too much unsaid in me. All kinds of states, contradictions, difficulties in interpersonal relationships. I felt the need for a minimum of coherence, to understand how they were formed, where they came from, what my sensitive areas were. Today, I owe a lot to psychology, I have become a father, a husband, a better man even than I imagined."

Vicențiu is a Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Profiler. He has more than 20 years of experience with outstanding results in the field.

When he's not devoting his time to people, Vincent is looking to buy his time - as he likes to say. "I try hard to stick to a schedule that's good for me: sports every day, then reading and a bit of writing, with good music in the background. This is time for me and it's one of the best times of the day, where I connect with myself, I calm down." His evenings are spent with his family.

His biggest challenge as a psychologist is...

"There's this fantasy, if you come to a psychologist, he solves a lot of your problems. When, in fact, we do the work together, as a team. Yes, the psychologist has a training, a life or practice experience, but the inner contents of the client (cognitive and emotional) are very personal, he interpreted them and felt them in a certain way. The psychologist must try to get to the root of the associations with the client, to what those contents mean to him. The big challenge for me is to go with the client on a deeper analysis, on the chain of his associations, but often the client defends, runs away, avoids. And I have to respect his time, come back, try again. With those who have a great difficulty in self-analysis things go a little more slowly. Sometimes I feel that this is a challenge for me."
